Now, sixty plus years later, Southminster Early Learning Academy operates on the same basic principles present at its inception, and maintains the same high standards on which it was founded. The variety of programs that we offer affords the opportunity to select the class which best suits the child's needs. Our program allows for a maximum student-teacher ratio of 1:8. The Board of Directors, our Director, and our competent staff are continually evaluating and restructuring the program to ensure that the needs of each child are met. It is our continuing hope that Southminster Early Learning Academy will be a rich and positive experience for every child enrolled in the program.
Southminster Early Learning Academy in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Southminster Early Learning Academy is open to all children in the community regardless of race, religion or national origin.
Our non-denominational program is hosted by Southminster Presbysterian Church.
